In 2005 I left a well paid job. To do what, I didn’t know. There was a vague thought of going to Australia. That never happened. Since then, with my city career behind me, there has been no career. Not really. I’ve been juggling a couple of businesses. Neither pays the mortgage by itself, but when it’s all added up, life is OK. Fast forward a few years and things are quite different. Record unemployment for one thing and unheard of numbers of people in part time jobs, getting by. Then a thought. What if more people were able to take control of their own destiny. A part time buisses, may not make you very wealthy. But it can help keep the wolves from the door and could be a spring board to something else. Why just be a poorly paid wage slave? Throw in a part time business into the mix and you have the beginnings of something purposeful. There’s no better way to express yourself. So the idea for part time busines ideas was born. And yes, it’s another part time business!
